On June 12th, 2024, Ladies Who Lead closed out the year with an unforgettable celebration, featuring special guest Jocelyne Larocque — a true trailblazer in the world of sports and an inspiration to all.
Jocelyne, Assistant Captain for PWHL Toronto and a Gold Medalist with Team Canada Women’s Hockey, shared her incredible journey with our members. As a two-time NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament Champion and the first Indigenous athlete to compete in the women’s ice hockey tournament at the Winter Olympics, Jocelyne’s story was one of perseverance, passion, and breaking barriers.
Held at Sassy Britches Brewing Co. in Brantford, this end-of-year event was the perfect chance to network, connect, and be inspired by an athlete who’s accomplished so much on and off the ice. Guests enjoyed delicious catering from Strodes BBQ & Deli and had the chance to mingle with an incredible community of women.
Thank you to Jocelyne for joining us and for being such an incredible role model. Here’s to an even more successful year ahead! 🎉
