On November 19th, 2024, the TownePlace Suites Brantford transformed into a hub of inspiration, laughter, and community spirit as Ladies Who Lead and the Chamber of Commerce Brantford-Brant proudly presented Women of Impact: An Evening of Inspiration & Laughter. This year marked the 19th Annual iteration of our cherished ‘Wine, Women, and Shopping’ event, now with a fresh name, a renewed purpose, and more energy than ever before.
The evening was filled with meaningful connections, powerful conversations, and inspiring entertainment. Susan Stewart, renowned comedian and mental health advocate, took the stage as our special guest. Her unique blend of humor and heart helped guide us through the complexities of life, making for an unforgettable experience. Laughter echoed throughout the venue, creating a perfect balance between fun and reflection.
This event wasn’t just about entertainment. Women of Impact continued its longstanding tradition of supporting small businesses in the Brantford-Brant area. With vendor booths showcasing local products and services, attendees had the chance to shop local and find the perfect holiday gifts while supporting the incredible businesses in our community.
Women of Impact is designed to uplift women both personally and professionally, and this year’s event was a true testament to that mission. While the event welcomed everyone, the proceeds from ticket sales and vendor fees were directed toward supporting female-owned businesses and providing resources to empower women in our area.
